A month to month security fix has caused VPN association issues for certain Windows 11 clients.
Microsoft says it's researching reports of VPN association disappointments in the wake of introducing the April 2024 Windows 11 update. The KB5036893 security update was given on April ninth for all upheld Windows 11 variants, and a few clients have revealed that VPN associations with TPM-supported endorsements aren't working after the fix was introduced.
Reddit client Flo-TPG says the Windows 11 update caused "an endorsement couldn't be found" blunder while endeavoring to utilize a VPN association. Microsoft cautions that VPN associations could flop in the wake of introducing this April 2024 security update and that the organization is "researching client reports, and we will give more data before long."
The just workaround right presently is to uninstall the KB5036893 update, and Microsoft says it's wanting to deal with a goal "in a forthcoming delivery," which proposes a hotfix is coming.
