Frequent forgetting a lot? Experts use this special trick to help remember well and not forget the name of others

Frequent forgetfulness, especially difficulty remembering other people's names, is a big problem for most people. Below are the interpretations of world-renowned memory experts.

In the book "The Psychology of Memory" written by Dr. Megan Sumeracki and Dr. Althea Need Kaminske, "Memory is like a book page. "Because we store a lot of things in memory, when we have trouble remembering something, the process can be a bit confusing."
"For example, I spend a lot of time looking for my phone, my water bottle and my keys," said Dr. Kaminske. "This forgetfulness is because our memory system is not designed or created to remember where we put the phone, the lock or the water bottle."
For parents or young children, psychologists recommend leaving a bag in the back seat of the car as a reminder to remove their children from the car seat. This technique is called "event recall"
For those who often forget the name of others, experts use another strategy is "pull the truth out of memory". Dr. Kaminske added: "Create a new image or object that resembles that person's name, and remember his name every time you see him, it will help you remember the name easily." Practice regularly and your memory will be healthier.
It should also be noted that memory tends to decline with age, and it can be affected by alcohol, drugs, insomnia, caffeine and head injuries. If you find yourself asking the same questions over and over again, wandering around in familiar places, having trouble following the wrong formula about time, people, and place, seek medical advice to avoid serious problems.
